After earning a degree in music from the University of Washington in 1994 and working as a professional musician for a few years, I realized I had chosen the wrong career. I had always loved decorating, so I decided to explore a career in furniture sales and store display for Restoration Hardware. I immersed myself in interior design and color, soaking up knowledge wherever I could.

In 2006, I was feeling a bit restless after 3 years of being a full-time mom. My supportive husband suggested I start charging people for all the "free decorating advice" I was handing out. It wasn't long before I had plenty of clients, and a busy schedule.

Balance is just as important to me as earning money. I take pride in being the best mother and partner I can be, and taking care of myself physically and mentally, all while pursuing a career in a field that brings me joy.
